“Nurturing a New Creative Class”

Lens into Wellbeing invitations

Lens Into Wellbeing

Thanks to Canon and their Young People Programme who have supported the creation of these resources.

In partnership with young creatives, The Ideas Foundation has produced a series of postcards featuring a range of wellbeing invitations. These have been designed to help prompt discussions and creative activities around wellbeing, using the camera as a creative tool.

There are many routes to wellbeing and lots of different frameworks available. The cards are based on the recommendations put forward by the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, for further information see ‘5 Steps to mental wellbeing’.

The cards focus on movement, contribution, connection, mindfulness, and learning. Enjoy scrolling through them on the downloadable PDF resource file (16mb approx.).

Young people have been involved in every step of the way in the creation of these resources, from consultation to creation – using their images alongside those by professional Canon photographers.
