WorkSim
- The Work Simulation Project takes place outside the education institution and lasts up to 60 hours
- Students work in teams, usually in competition
- The consultant is introduced, the client representative explains the company and project background and presents the brief to the teams.
- Students work to health & safety standards, with a disciplinary procedure.
- They have experts to draw on for advice during the WorkSim
- Halfway through, students have a peer critique, present their proposals to the consultant and receive advice
- At the end of the week the teams exhibit and present their work for feedback. By this point, they are able to talk through their process from concept to product.
